Roma!!

Well, I made it! The flight wasn't so bad, even though it was delayed (by two hours). The international flight had great entertainment with hundreds of games and movies in different languages. So I watched Beauty and the Beast...in Italian! After getting off the plane, I met another Study Abroad student, Allison. We bonded immediately, found our luggage, and found the SAI representative who later took a bunch of us to the SAI office, where we got our keys, cell phones, and other information packets. Two girls in the group were also in my apartment, so we stuck together and carried our luggage up six long flights of stairs.... (well, actually....we were lucky and had an elevator :-D). The apartment is nice - a lot bigger than we expected! Still waiting for one roommate to arrive...there are EIGHT of us total. Hope we still all get along by the end of the week!

Hi Gillian - glad you made it over to Italy safely and are settling into your apartment. Have a wonderful semester! The packers are here today -- we've been eating off of paper plates for a while now. After today, it's take-out on paper plates!

Enjoy Rome!!
