Hi everyone! Thank you for checking out my blog!
The title "Gillian studia Italia," literally means "Gillian studies Italy." It took me a while to think of a "good" blog title, but I finally chose this one because I think it can be interpreted in two ways:
- If you didn't know, I will be studying in Italy for the next four months!! (yay!)
- I will not only be attending classes and studying IN Italy, but I will also be studying Italy, the country itself - the language, culture, history, environment, food, arts, entertainment, people.

I'm thrilled to have this opportunity, but of course I'll be missing all of you. However, I'm so glad to be able to share my experiences while I'm abroad, so I'll be keeping this blog so that you can keep up with me!
More info about the school, classes I'm taking, living arrangements, etc. etc. etc. will be posted later.
